Build and test your integration against pre-production before you switch to production.

Credentials

Ask Nerasol for pre-production credentials if you don’t have them.

Caution

Test numbers and simulated outcomes aren’t published yet. Ask Nerasol which numbers to use in pre-production, and whether payments there move real money.

What to test

• Authentication: get a token, cache it, and refresh it after a 401.
• Collections: a payment the customer approves, and one they decline or ignore.
• Callbacks: your endpoint replies 2xx quickly, handles the same callback twice, and confirms the result with a status check.
• Status checks: recover a result when your callback endpoint was down.
• Errors: an invalid phone number, an amount with 3 decimals, and an unknown field all return 400.
• Disbursements and reversals, if you use them, including Not enough merchant funds.
• Direct debit, if you use it: approval, a scheduled charge, and cancellation.

Receiving callbacks locally

Your callback URL must be reachable from the internet. While developing, use a tunnelling tool to expose your local server over HTTPS, and pass that URL as your callback URL.
